Calculation of brickworks in cft and cum..

hey guys this my second lecture about  the brick calculation and i  want demonstrate about the brickwork calculation there are two method to calculate the bricks shortly which are
MKS system (Meter , kilo , Second )
FPS  system (Foot ,Found , Second )

MKS system (Meter , kilo , Second
                                                       in this system we say about the metric system in which (meter , cubic meter , etc ) So lets go to the topic as we know that in one cum are equal to 500 brick so need a measuring tape and three side (length. breath. height) of a wall of brick so we measure these three side and multiply with each other for example if the quantity of the wall 90cum so we multifly the 90 with 500 it will give the quantity of brick

 FPS  system (Foot ,Found , Second )
                                                           in this system we say about the British system in which (foot , yard inches etc) are taken in this system lets go to the topic as we know that in one Cft are equal to 13.5 no of brick so we need a measuring  tape and three faces of wall we measure wall in feet and calculate the three faces and multiply with each other and derive a Cft unit , for example if there is 200 cft of we multiply 200 with 13.5 and give us no of bricks

Hye guys today topic is for bricks and every civil engineer know that 100 cft = 1350 no of bricks but Many of them does not know how it came from so let start the topic As we know that       100 cft = 1350 no,s of bricks Volume of bricks    9"×4.5"×3" Let's convert into the feet 0.75*0.325*0.25 So it equal to = 0.0703 cft volume of each bricks now we finding the volume of 100 cft without mortar 100/volume of each bricks 100/0.0703  =1422 .22 no of brick without mortar now we find the volume of mortar in 100 cft which is 10 % of mortar volume 10/100 *1422 = 142.40 no of bricks  now remove the mortar volume from the total number of bricks 1440-142 = 1280 no of bricks now add the contingency rate which is 5 % 5/100 *1422 =71 No of bricks no add the brick 1280 no of bricks 1280+71 =1351 no of bricks so we say that 100 cft = 1350 no of bricks..
